Motherhood doesn’t change all at once, each stage slowly transitions into a new one. Little habits slowly fade. Growth spurts slowly change their appearance.

Inside or Out, there's no wrong answer

Some families love being outside in the Black Hills. The open space gives kids room to move without feeling contained or asked to pose. It’s a natural fit for families with little ones who don’t slow down.

Others are drawn to the studio, where the focus stays fully on your family and the distractions fade away. Or it may simply be your own home, where everything already feels familiar and easy.

There isn’t one right choice. It really comes down to what feels most like your family in this season.

How it works

The process

initial inquiry

The nest step is to reach out when you’re ready to hold onto this season. I’ll respond within 48 hours with the full details on our experience for families.

booking proposal

Once you select the perfect experience for your family. I’ll send a simple booking proposal. Once your contract is signed and retainer is received, your date is officially reserved.
From there, we begin planning.

Planning

You’ll receive my prep guide + access to our private Facebook group to help you feel confident going into your session. We’ll choose a location that reflects your family best and coordinate outfits in a way that feels natural, not overdone.

Gallery delivery

Session Day

Within three weeks, your gallery will be ready. You’ll receive a gallery filled with digital images that reflect this season as it truly felt.
You’ll be able to download, print, and share your images easily, so they don’t live only on a screen.

On session day, you don’t have to manage anything because the goal isn’t perfection. It’s presence.
I’ll happily guide where needed and step back when the moment calls for it. We’ll follow your family’s rhythm and allow things to unfold as they naturally would.
